ABOUT THE FARM
Maple Row Farm dates back to the early 1800's and is a Registered Historical Landmark in Clarence, New York. It is now owned by Hans and Janet Mobius and currently operates as an adult boarding facility. They can care for over 30 horses on its 85 acres of pristine country property, where boarders have many options for riding. There is a well maintained 1.5 mile grass track that runs the circumference of the farm, an outside hunt course, an enclosed sand track ring, a grass dressage ring and a fully enclosed and lighted 80' x 160' indoor arena.
ABOUT THE MANAGER
The manager, Pamela Mobius Armstrong is a native Buffalonian who has been actively involved with horses most of her life. She followed in her father's footsteps by riding, showing, and eventually instructing and training. After earning a B.S. in Management and Finance from SUNY Buffalo in 1990, she moved to Philadelphia, PA to manage a million dollar thermoforming factory that she and her brother purchased. During her time spent in Philadelphia, she continued with hunt seat instruction and training, and also became actively involved in the Thoroughbred Race Horse industry. Seven years later, the factory was sold and she moved to Harrisburg, PA where she managed a law firm, officiated at Horse Shows as a Steward licensed by the US Equestrian Federation, and managed a small boarding facility. She also served as a Mounted Patrol Officer on her horse, Lawrence, whom she trained for the position. In her spare time, she attended many seminars and clinics on equine instruction, training and care and completed a Veterinary Assistant Program. She is also certified in First Aid, CPR and Technical Large Animal Rescue, serves on the Empire State Animal Response Team (ESART), and serves as a Board Member on the New York State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Pam offers hunt seat instruction and training at Maple Row Farm and extremely well qualified care for its equine residents. Family members reside on the premises and are available 24 hours a day for equine emergencies and emergency transportation if necessary. Maple Row Farm owns the only equine ambulance in Western New York and they are able to transport standing or recumbent animals with video surveillance.
