ABOUT THE MANAGER
The manager, Pamela Mobius Armstrong, LVT is a native Buffalonian who has been actively involved with horses most of her life. She followed in her father's footsteps by riding, showing, and eventually instructing and training. After earning a B.S. in Management and Finance from SUNY Buffalo in 1990, she moved to Philadelphia, PA to manage a million dollar thermoforming factory that she and her brother purchased. During her time spent in Philadelphia, she continued with hunt seat instruction and training, and also became actively involved in the Thoroughbred Race Horse industry. Seven years later, the factory was sold and she moved to Harrisburg, PA where she managed a law firm, officiated at Horse Shows as a Steward licensed by the US Equestrian Federation, and managed a small boarding facility. She also served as a Mounted Patrol Officer on her horse, Lawrence, whom she trained for the position. Pam is a licensed veterinary technician, an adjunct professor at Medaille College, and serves as a Board Member for Erie County Soil and Water and American Wagyu Association.
Family members reside on the premises and are available 24 hours a day for equine emergencies and emergency transportation. Maple Row Farm owns the only equine ambulance in Western New York and is able to transport standing or recumbent animals with video surveillance. Pam is certified in Technical Large Animal Rescue and operates the ambulance service as Equine Emergency Rescue Services, Inc.
